Terms of use

These terms explain what Earwax Clinic Network is, what it isn't, and what you can expect when you use the directory.

About the directory

Earwax Clinic Network is operated by The Hearing Lab Store Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. The directory lists independent UK ear care clinics and shows their practitioner credentials, methods offered and indicative pricing. It exists to help patients choose a clinic on the basis of verifiable information rather than guesswork.

Listed clinics pay a fee to be included. Patient access to the directory is free.

What the directory is

A signposting service. We connect patients with independent practitioners. Each listing shows the practitioner type, registering body, methods offered, indemnity status and indicative pricing so you can make an informed choice.

The directory call routes go to the clinic, not to us. When you call a number shown on a listing, you are speaking to the practitioner or their reception team. We use the tracking only to confirm which calls originated through the directory.

What the directory is not

It is not a booking platform. We do not take appointments, hold deposits, or guarantee availability. Clinics manage their own bookings.

It is not a clinical authority. We do not provide medical advice. The information on this site is general guidance about ear care methods and practitioner credentials. Always rely on your practitioner's clinical judgement for decisions about your treatment.

It is not a vetting service. We verify the credentials clinics declare on listing, but we do not assess any individual practitioner's clinical performance, review their patient outcomes, or vouch for the quality of their service. Each listing shows you the same factual checks you could perform yourself - we make those checks visible in one place.

It is not an endorsement. Inclusion on the directory does not imply we recommend a particular clinic over another. We present credentials transparently; the choice is yours.

Information accuracy

We take care to keep listings accurate. Clinics provide their own information at registration and are responsible for keeping it current. We carry out periodic verification but cannot guarantee that every detail is correct at the moment you view it.

If you spot an error on a listing or have a concern about information shown, contact us at [email protected] and we will investigate.

Your use of the site

You may use the directory to find clinics, read educational content, and contact listed clinics via the displayed numbers. You may not:

  • Scrape, copy or reuse listing data for commercial purposes without written permission
  • Misrepresent yourself when contacting clinics through the directory
  • Use the directory for any unlawful purpose

Limitation of liability

We take reasonable care in presenting practitioner information accurately, but to the extent permitted by law, The Hearing Lab Store Ltd is not liable for:

  • Decisions you make on the basis of information shown on the directory
  • The clinical outcome of any procedure carried out by a listed practitioner
  • Disputes between you and a listed clinic regarding bookings, fees, or service quality
  • Interruptions to the site, the map widget, or call routing services

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always applies and is shown at the bottom of this page. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least 14 days before taking effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
